Заем в определенной форме, позволяющей использовать его наподобие акций. В качестве примера можно привести доходное долговое обязательство, действующее как акция, т.е. приносящее проценты только в том случае, когда весь проект приносит прибыль. Это означает, что оно обращается как обыкновенная акция (т.е. ценная бумага, приносящая доход только в случае выплаты компанией дивидендов). В качестве примера использования заемных инструментов подобного типа можно привести страны с высокой степенью риска, где вложения непосредственно в акционерный капитал были бы сразу же потеряны, в то время как заемный инструмент с признаками акции, будучи деноминирован в долларах, в состоянии гарантировать капиталовложение и обеспечить получение дохода, если проект будет развиваться успешно.
